Infection Control in Your Dental Practice
Overview
Implementing infection prevention measures are not only legally required, but they are essential to keeping both employees and patients safe. Not only does it make good business sense to follow infection prevention guidelines to avoid possible litigation, but it is also congruent with dentists’ professional responsibilities. This course will look at administrative measures that dentists can take to ensure the safety of their staff and patients, as well as standard precautions that all dental health care practitioners needs to be mindful of in their practice in order to stop the spread of infection. Dentists will have an understanding of how you can better implement OSHA and CDC guidelines into your practice to help prevent potential exposures.
